We could always take a walk in the park...

Sera's thin body was wrapped in a white chanel vintage dress, her hair was straightened and hung past her shoulder blades. She wanted to look good for Ash, and had insisted that it was a fine night for a stroll and the park near downtown was absolutely lovely at night. She wasn't all that dressed up, considering her clothing options, but most other people would wonder why she was in a dress at a park.

She was walking along in the brisk winter air, her fur coat wrapped around her tightly. Her head was down and her hair was blowing in the slight wind, her thin fingers hugged by fuzzy gloves. She was constantly huffing at the wind that bit her barely-covered ankles, gasping slightly at every breeze.

When she finally arrived at the park, she sat herself down on one of the benches, quickly crossing her ankles and pushing her coat over them. She pulled her hair from her face and tried not to look flustered by the cold, waiting for Ash.


Henry was walking at the other end, his fitted suit sharp and black, blowing uncomfortably away from his sides. He was unfazed by the temperature, as he should be-his skin was about the same as it. He walked along slowly-strolled, rather, his shoes kicking up dust from the gravel they touched.

His eyes were scanning the area, and he was rather engrossed in his thoughts. His dark eyes were down and he was thinking about his human days, remembering the differences in his life then and now. He shoved his hands in his pockets and winced at the pain of lost love.

Ash fidgeted inside his cram-packed coat closet. He couldn't find anything that would pass as being casual for a stroll in the park. He tossed particles of clothing over his shoulders; massive suits flying through the air and landing sloppily onto the plum carpet. Jade stumbled in the room, her ears leading her to the source of soft curses filling the small apartment. Her sapphire eyes widened as she noticed the towering pile of clothes filling up the bedroom.
"Wh-wait!" she snapped frantically while attempting to climb over the extensive mound of material. "Here.." she moaned while holding her small arm into the air. Jade held a pair of casual slacks, and a white button up coat. Casual as it's going to get.

"Oh. Where was that?" he huffed while slowly stammering around the scattered suits and dress shirts.

"On the couch." she mumbled while rolling her cat-like eyes sarcastically. She stomped her way out of the room, shaking her head from side to side.


Ash had finally made his way out of the apartment- and quickly jogged his way down to the park. He wasn't considerably late.. but he wasn't as early as he'd like to have been. He profusely glanced over at his platinum watch, making sure he wasn't making Serafina wait too long by herself.

"This is ridiculous.." Ash grumbled while continuing his slow paced trot. If no-one were out, he could have been there by the blink of an eye. Or two.

Still, he made good time. Ash's eyes scanned over the large park, avoiding any distractions. The world was on his side tonight. No vampires.
As he finally made eye contact with his beloved Serafina, he waved happily. Eyes gleaming with excitement.

Zane sat on the wooden bench, enjoying the cold night air. It made his skin cool, not his normal burning touch. His blue eyes searched the area for Mary, nervous about being in public together. He certainly didn't want anything bad to come of her. He fidgeted, hoping that nothing went awry on the way here.

Suddenly, she come into view. He could see that she was hesitant, probably just as scared as he was. But, he just had to leave that dark, gloomy house or he might have snapped. Maybe a public setting wasn't the best of choices. He shrugged it off, smiling when she made eye contact with him.

As he breathed the cool, fresh air, he noticed a peculiar scent that wasn't Mary's. But, it was the scent of a vampire. His eyes darted away from the girl, trying to find the source of the smell. His eyes found the face of a vampire, greeting a human girl not to far from where he sat. Well well well. It looks like we have another forbidden couple, he thought to himself, smirking.

He beckoned Mary to come sit next to him, he didn't like it when she was away from him, it felt strange and unfamiliar. When she sat next to him, he reached a hand and stroked the hair out of her face. He refused to do anything more then that. Public display of affection would definately not be a smart idea. Them being together would definately get them into serious trouble. Zane tried not to think about it, but failed miserably.

Marylinda smiled nervously at Zane. She had-of course-respected Zane's reluctance to be in the house and accepted a nice visit to the park. Tilting her head she smirked. "Are you sure you don't want to sell the house? You don't like it at all. It's the reason we're here and not at home. All you have to do is say yes and we can buy a new place."

She sighed. Losing her home would be hard, but she wanted Zane to be happy. She could pull through if she could see her wolf's smile. It would be easy, leaving the haunted-looking, old, creaky house behind. Leaving Fredirick's rotted corpse. Yep, easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy.

Mary sighed. As awful as it sounded, it was the only place she was familiar with. It would be tough for the first few months. She would be...depressed. It would suck. She bit her lip. She wouldn't be fun to be around. The guilt would eat away at her. Looking up at Zane with an expectant look, she couldn't figure out if she wanted him to say yes or no.

"Romeo." Marylin crossed her legs slowly. "I need you to tell me what you want. Not what you think I want to hear."

Clara's fiery red hair was billowing behind her like a chinese fan as she walked, making her way back to her downtown penthouse. She was in a good mood after gorging herself on a male model who had practically waltzed into her stomach. She turned him because he was good-looking, and he had just woken up.

There was nothing like watching a roomful of pitiful humans suffer. She giggled just thinking about it, reveling at how pretty it sounded, though she was such a monster. She enjoyed it. It was a lot like scaring your little sister, she didn't feel guilty because parents were never there to guilt-trip her.

She smelled a very horrible mixture of werewolf, human, and vampire as she rounded the corner towards the park, and wrinkled her upturned nose, stopping in her tracks, barely wobbling on her towering heels. "Eugh," she scoffed, and kept walking, hoping for another catch. How fun!

She wanted to run and surprise them, but how boring, vampires and werewolves would hear and smell her. She pouted for a split second, then recovered, rounding a large brick building and spotting the park. She couldn't see anything, it was ridiculously dark outside and no streetlights seem to be on. She cursed and stood still, watching for movement. She licked her lips, ready for a show.

Serafina looked up, seeing Ash, and her eyes grew wide and happy. She stood up and teetered over to him, wrapping her arms around him. She didn't say anything, but simply took his stone hand and grinned up at him taking in his familiar smell.

Ash's smile widened as Serafina's eagerness took hold of his previously anxious state of being late. His brows pulled together as he began to wonder whether she had been waiting for him for a long time.
"How long have you been here?" he questioned while brushing a gentle kiss atop her forehead, flashing a brilliant side grin. Ash didn't let his guilt merge onto his placid expression,- he didn't want to come off to uptight.

His soft eyes scanned the park, a playful frown meeting his lips. "Ah... why do you like it here again?" he chuckled while watching numerous couples strolling along the sidewalks.. Married folk bickering, and obnoxious kids scattering across the damp grass fields. People. Lots of them.

His keen noise alerted him that their was immortal company joining the crowd as well. A mixed pair. I guess tonight was the perfect night for rule breaking.

Zane had to admit, he didn't like the house one bit, it gave him the creeps. But, he would suffer through it to be with Mary. He wouldn't want her to be upset with him for making her move. That wouldn't be fair. Not fair at all. He smiled slightly, trying to be reassuring. "I honestly don't care, dear. I'm happy as long as you are," he let his hand reach out for hers, entwining their fingers.

He thought things would be okay, after all, most Camarilla scum stayed in their mansion, hiding like the cowards they were. But, nothing in life was easy, and he knew that. So, when the smell of another vampire hit his nose, he couldn't help but recoil his hand as quickly as possible. He grew still, not sure what this vampires intentions where. He had no idea whether it was Camarilla or just your everyday leech. He had no clue how to distinguish the two scents.

He looked into Mary's brown eyes, questioning if she smelt it too. He hoped that it was just a figment of his imagination, that there really wasn't another vampire lurking in the mists. He shivered at the thought. Chewing at his lip, he let his sapphire eyes scan the park, assessing who was in his view. He saw the vampire and human who were not too far away, and a lot of humans buzzing about. Well, if there were humans nearby, no way would a Camy expose what they were out in the public like this. He felt better as the thought brushed through his mind.

Mary watched Zane carefully. When he responded, she hit his shoulder. "Don't lie. It's so obvious that you care. Even some mortal idiot could figure it out...We're selling it. and that's final. You aren't allowed to pretest for the next forty-eight hours."

When Zane recoiled, she assumed it was from the house, though it puzzled her exceedingly. Didn't he hate the house? She was pretty sure he didn't adore it. It must be something else. A thought hit her. Was another vampire lurking about? She inhaled slightly. Oh. There was more than one.

She glanced around nervously and spotted each of them. She grabbed Zane's shirt with an angry expression. She lowered her voice to a whisper. "Look you probably have to pretend I'm arguing with you. Just go along with it, okay?"

Clara smiled at the warm embrace the vampire and the human shared, not out of admiration or of love but rather out of the fleeting feeling of a catch. She lived for this sort of thing, for the hunt. Her eyes flew from them to a were and a vamp; now that was something she had never seen before. She smirked and watched as they feigned an argue, her hearing picking up every word of their conversation.

"Just how naive do they think I am? Vermin," She thought, rolling her eyes at how they thought she would fall for something like that. There were many humans around, but she could work around that. Her mind wandered and she thought of different approaches. She could use her strange ability to control others. That was so easy though. She wanted a challenge. But then again, she was tired. Maybe it was more suitable to use her power?

She thought about this, then entered the park from a middle entrance, her hair wrapping her face, making her look almost ethereal. She smiled at it as it whipped at her pink cheeks, heads turning as she entered. She used the sidewalk as a catwalk, sauntering over to a bench in the middle of the two couples, looking normal, like any other vampire.

She looked up and could just make out the faces-did she know any of these people? Oh, Andrew Strauss. Always such a ladies man. What a daring little punk-this was definitely not the first time. She thought he had been dating some other, younger human, but this one was definitely not the person she had seen him with while spying on him a few weeks back.

Hm. She looked at the next couple and raised her eyebrows; a vampire that looked naive, and a werewolf who looked like he hated his life. They were pretty good at acting, in her opinion, but the soft and confused look in the were's eyes gave them away. She sat back in the bench, knowing Ash would recognize her, wondering what he would do. She focused all her attention on the other couple, beginning to work her magic.


Sera smiled up at him. "I just got here, no worries." She knew of his chivalrous background and let one hand pat his chest affectionately. "And...I like it here because it's cute. It's clean and...normally not so crowded. We can go somewhere else, if you'd like," she suggested. She knew he was probably uncomfortable.

She looked across to where his eyes were drifting; another couple that looked upset with each other, though they were too close to really dislike each other all that much, and their soft tones suggested this brawl wouldn't last long. She threw a questioning gaze up at Ash-why was he looking at them so strangely? She pushed these thoughts to the back of her mind and settled at his side.

Ash could feel his muscles begin to tense at the sight of the mismatched couple that perched only a short distance away from him and Serafina. He couldn't help but dread the fact that he wasn't the only immortal located in the park. That simply meant this place drew more attention to the Camarilla then it would naturally. The Cammy love seeking out any flaws within the wide community; and having a group of vampires and a misplaced werewolf would only lead their controlling asses right on over. Free admission.

An unexpected groan parted his fine lips, as he quickly clutched Sera's dainty hand within his. He quickly glanced to the side, the scent of law enforcement greeting his sense of smell. "We have to go." he mumbled while beginning to drag her forward towards the other couple.
"Oh, yeah.. I see." he quickly threw in while realizing he hadn't heard her answer to his previous question. Great, two impolite occurrences in one night. He was on a role.

He swiftly plowed across the dewy grass, practically carrying Sera across the wide courtyard. His movements were gentle, despite the hastiness in his every action.

He made an abrupt halt infront of the vampire and werewolf, shaking his head in dismay, "M'am.. would you follow me.. over here."
He motioned the young female vampire to his side, while barely acknowledging the werewolf's presence. Oops, guess he missed him.

Hmm...stupid humans. They seemed to just ignore the the pretty woman that shoved past them. Her senses were on high alert. She smelled the odor of vampires, and she didn't like it. Of course, she was a werewolf, and it was just a normal behavior for her. Sabine knew she wasn't welcome here, and that was what had drawn her. The breeze blowed at her brown hair, sending her tattered, long trench coat flying. Her jeans, as always,were tattered and ripped. Wearing only a pair of flats she seemed to fir right in with this crowd.

The vampire scent made Sabine edgy. She had enough experience with bitchs like these, and that had come from her sister, Ryder. Her silver-blue eyes narrowed a she spotted them. Lovely. A human and a vampire. The perfect couple.

Mary glanced up at the vampire with a wince. She didn't recognize him. Hopefully he wasn't Camarilla, but it wasn't likely. Standing slowly, she glanced at Zane. Too late. "Uh...sure."

She stepped over to where the man had indicated. She looked up at him expectantly. "Do you need something?" As she moved she caught the smell of a werewolf. Definitely not Zane. She turned towards the smell. Christ had every immortal in the city flocked to this very park?

Sabine let out a in-human growl as the vampire looked at her. She hated people staring at her. She stepped up and gazed at Mary with her silver-blue eyes. "You know, it is impolite to stare." she told the vampire with a soft tone. The women was pretty, but the male werewolf beside her was completely breath-taking.

She extended a long-fingered hand, waiting for mary to shake it. "I'm Sabine."

Ick. Short.

Mary shrank back from the werewolf's hand. She found herself backing into the vampire that was trying to talk to her. He would think her a coward. Whatever. Who cared what he thought? She trembled against him, her thoughts panicked and confusing. Oh my gods, a wolf. A werewolf. She's going to eat me.

She clutched at the vampire's shirt, her eyes wide. "Don't touch me." She squeaked out the words with terror.

Sabine let out a growl. "Stop being such a wuss. Besides, you are too skinny to eat." she snapped, pulling her hand back. Already, she didn't like the woman. She was a coward, and to Sabine, cowards ment stupidity.

Clara watched the situation unfold. Ugh, not another werewolf. She watched as the girl waltzed into the park. Did she think she owned the place? She rolled her eyes. Weres. They thought they could walk on water, they thought they could do anything they pleased and not be held responsible or accountable. She impatiently flipped her long red locks over her shoulder, fighting the urge to roll her eyes again.

She listened to all their conversations, more intently the one Ash was having with the other couple. The girl on his arm was being dragged around and looked rather confused at the whole situation-of course, she couldn't help it; she didn't know the rules. More importantly, she had no idea who Clara was, and probably hadn't even noticed her yet.

She stood and glared at Ash's back, trying to force him to come over to her. She focused on him, narrowing her eyes, hands pressed together behind her back. "Yoo-hoo," she thought, pursing her lips in annoyance. She was sure he had smelled her, but was unaware of whether or not he had seen her.

She was still listening to the werewolf that was off talking to the vampire. She was again annoyed that the vampire was being so vulnerable and scared in wake of the lower race. Her brows narrowed, she turned slightly to the side to hear them better.


Sera was frustrated at why Ash was dragging her and being semi-rude, but she allowed him to drag her over to the other couple. She was confused and flustered, and she listened to him. His voice was worried and distressed, but she didn't ask questions; she knew that he would explain it sooner or later.

She watched as he addressed the female, guessing that she was probably a vampire as well. He was obviously concerned about something, and his movements were quick in deliberate. They were in trouble.

Ash casually leaned inwards towards MARY (damnit!), his head nearly touching the top of hers. "I am in no position to accuse, but what exactly do you think you're doing?" he hissed, trying to keep his comments low under his breath. His eyes narrowed as he darted a quick glance to the pompous Cammy that stood in clear view, waiting for him to make the first confrontation. He held the vampire's arm tightly, pulling her forward enough to make eye contact with the fiery red head that lurked within the park.
"Do you know who that is?" he snapped while quickly giving Sera a quick nod, mentally alerting her that there was indeed a situation coming about. Paranoia haunted his every move at that point. He played various scenarios within his worried mind, trying to make up suitable excuses. More appropriately.. Cunning enough lies.

He was unsure of whether to shoo Serafina away from his presence, making it seem as if she were just an acquaintance. If that plan were to go wrong, she'd be in great danger without his full protection. He decided the best way to pull the wool over the Prince's serf eyes, would simply be winging it.
